The mission of the Noank Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history of Noank, and to honor and protect Noank’s rich heritage through preservation, research, and dissemination of knowledge.

We are a small, locally owned farm that provides a high quality, consistent and sustainable product to our customers. We harvest year round from the pristine and nutrient-rich waters in Fisher's Island Sound. Oystering is our passion and we take pride in what we do! Come to our Farm-Stand on Fridays from 12-4 and Saturdays from 9-2. We sell our oysters fresh off the boat!

Noank Community Garden was once the site of Noank Community School. Plans for the garden include converting the six acres of land back into its original form for agricultural use, adding an educational component for gardening at the same time creating an attractive, park–like setting.

This park offers a 600 ft beach area. Enjoy saltwater swimming, picnicking under a grove of shade trees, expansive views of Long Island Sound and Mouse Island. A mobi-mat extends from the beach to the water’s edge to provide the mobility challenged access the water. The north side of the park provides kayak and canoe access to Palmer Cove. Benches, Picnic tables and a port-o-let are available.

Just outside of Noank, Haley Farm State Park is part of the X-Town Trail, a six mile trail that connects Bluff Point State Park to Towns End. Featuring: Several meadows and fields, early successional shrubby habitat, cedar grove, oak-hickory forest, marshy shoreline and freshwater wetlands, massive stone walls, a small graveyard, ponds, a tunnel under the railroad track was used as a cow crossing, and Jemima’s Rock a large, split, glacial erratic. Located at the end of Main Street on the Noank peninsula, this town-owned site offers unobstructed views of the lower Mystic River and Mason's Island. A small beach and dock area are provided (though overnight docking is not permitted). Facilities include access pier, handicapped access and picnic area, seasonal port-o-let. Public parking is available, but limited. 112 Main St. Noank CT 06340

There are two “Little Free Libraries” at the park… one for adults (blue) and one for kids (green). Take a book, leave a book, enjoy! At the Noank Play Area.

The Noank Foundry and Artist Studios is a group of artisan studios.

This waterfront park, located on Beebe Cove off Spicer Avenue, offers picnic facilities and some active recreation areas (volleyball, multi-purpose field). The park is closed at dusk and reservations are necessary for large groups (860-536-5680). The administrative offices of the Town Parks and Recreation Department are located in the historic Spicer House at this site. Limited public parking. The dock and small boat launch are handicapped accessible. Racks available ($) to store your canoe/kayaks or rowing shells.

Tripplett Park is a .5 acre scenic park. There is a bench to sit and enjoy views into the cove. There is a small pull off for parking for 1 or 2 cars.

This 3.6 acre parcel is located on Palmer Cove in the Tanglewood Subdivision, and contains a play area, basketball court and unimproved small boat launch. Boat launching is limited to those boats that can be carried or dragged. This open space area offers panoramic views of Palmer Cove. Limited parking is available.

It is the go-to bait and tackle store for the Noank-Mystic-Groton area. Located in Spicer’s Marina.

Founded nearly 60 years ago by the Noank Baptist Church Evening Circle, the Corner Closet helps our neighbors in need and all proceeds are donated back into the community. Come visit our thrift store to donate or shop. Your donations benefit the community!

Noank Rowing Club is a multi-generational community of rowers from a wide range of backgrounds that offers rowing and sculling opportunities to its members and to the surrounding community. Our mission is to make rowing accessible to anyone who wants to try the sport. Our sheltered cove is an ideal place to learn how to row. We hope you will take one of our youth or adult classes, or simply join us out on the water!

Enjoy some drinks with friends while listening to island music and cruising the Mystic River.  Dance, dance, dance. Get ready for a good time!
